Join us at the James Turrell Skyspace on the Pomona College campus for a special music program presented by the Folk Music Center Museum and the Benton Museum of Art, featuring siblings Harris and CJ Harper.
Harris Harper is a songwriter from Los Angeles with a penchant for the delicate, the ruminative, and the sparse. She will play a set of original songs, accompanied by Jesse Strauss.
Audio engineer CJ Harper is exploring methods of music composition for black cinema at SunHaus in Los Angeles, while posting music online using the alias Four AM. His composition for the Skyspace collages soulful recordings with an original theme recorded on an EMS Synthi.
The siblings are currently working together on Harris’ debut album.
