Since 1958, when the Folk Music Center was established in Claremont California, it has been serving the local community and beyond. Our focus is to provide families, groups and individuals with a variety of musical instruments and accessories for making their own music. Our mission is to present to the public a look, touch and play experience with instruments from all over the world. We are a destination location for people from as far away as Australia, Japan and Europe.
